UUSI OMAKOTITALO RINNETONTILLE
Eräs asiakaspariskunta halusi rakentaa uuden omakotitalon Naantalin Pirttiluotoon meren äärelle. Tontti oli kapea rinnetontti. Kaavamääräyksissä otettiin huomioon mm. merenpinnan nousuvara, joten asunnon lattian korkeus oli määritelty reilusti merenpintaa ylemmäs. Tontti ja alue oli metsäinen, joten auringonvalo ja maisemanäkymät piti saada maksimoitua meren suunnalta. Yhdessä keskustellen käytiin läpi useampi kierros luonnoksia, joista lopullinen vaihtoehto kehittyi pikkuhiljaa. Keskustelut asiakasparin kanssa olivat inspiroivia ja hedelmällisiä.
A client couple wanted to build a new house in Pirttiluoto, Naantali, by the sea. The site was narrow and sloping. The city plan regulations noticed factors such as sea level rise, so the floor level of the house was determined to be well above the sea level. The site and the area were surrounded by trees, so the goal was to maximize sunlight and panoramic views to the sea. Through collaborative discussions, several rounds of sketches were reviewed, gradually evolving into the final design option. The conversations with the clients were inspiring.
Sisätiloissa limittäin risteävät harjakatot kolmessa eri tasossa tuovat sisätiloihin ilmettä ja vaihtelua. Olohuoneessa takka on sijoitettu ulkoseinälle, jolloin samalla voi nauttia takkatulen loimusta ja merimaisemasta yhtä aikaa.
The overlapping and intersecting ridge roofs in three different levels bring character and variation to the interior spaces. In the living room, the fireplace is placed on an exterior wall, allowing one to simultaneously enjoy the warmth of the fireplace and the view of the sea.
Eteistilat ovat noin puolivälissä taloa, ja aulasta on helppo kulkea joko avariin yhteisiin tiloihin keittiöön ja olohuoneeseen tai toisaalta portaita ylös makuuhuoneisiin ja pesutiloihin sekä saunaan.
The entrance is located approximately halfway through the house and from the hallway, so that it is easy to access either the spacious common areas such as the kitchen and living room or, on the other hand, take the stairs up to the bedrooms, bathroom facilities, and sauna.
Kylpytilat ovat valoisat ja avarat - ja ne ovat suorassa yhteydessä yhdistettyyn kodinhoito-, vaate- ja pukeutumishuoneeseen. Pyykkihuolto toimii helposti eikä vaatteita tarvitse siirrellä huoneesta toiseen. Myös sauna on samassa yhteydessä. Jokaisesta huoneesta näkee pilkahduksen meren aalloista.
The bathrooms are bright and spacious and they are directly connected to a combined utility, clothing, and dressing room. Laundry management is convenient as there is no need to transfer clothes between different rooms. The sauna is also connected to this area. Each room offers glimpses of the sea, providing a serene atmosphere throughout the space.
Rakennus rakennettiin tontin maastonmuotoja myötäillen kolmeen tasoon. Korkeimman osan päädyssä on kaksi pienempää makuu- tai työhuonetta parvekkeen kera sekä niiden alla sijaitseva autotalli, johon on helppo ajaa auto kadun suunnalta tontille saavuttaessa. Sisustusuunnittelusta tässä projektissa vastasi sisustussuunnittelija Paula Kallio.
The building was built in three levels, following the contours of the terrain. At the end of the highest part, there are two smaller bedrooms or study rooms with balconies, and below them is the garage, easily accessible from the street when entering the property. The interior design for this project was carried out by interior designer Paula Kallio.
